My name is Sara Brull.  I have been married to my wonderful husband, Rob, for thirteen years.  We have four children who we love very much.  Our oldest son, Vincent, will be eleven in July 2018. Our second son, Stewart, was born in June, 2009, our daughter, Nora, in July 2012, and our youngest son, Samuel, in August 2015.  I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management.  For many years I had wanted to start my own business. However, I was not able to find anything I was really passionate about until ISR.  I am very excited to be a Certified Instructor for Infant Swim Resource.

There are several aspects of working with children that I think are rewarding, but the one I think is most rewarding is teaching them self confidence.  When you see a child start something new, they usually come to the first lesson (or other activity) upset and scared that they will fail.  But once you show them that they have the necessary skills to perform the task, you teach them that with a little hard work they can achieve whatever they desire.  I believe that children who are taught and display self confidence do better in school, sports, and ultimately their careers.  Self confidence is an immeasurable asset.

I first became interested in ISR when my husband, Rob, emailed me the Miles video from youtube.com.  Shortly after that we enrolled Vincent in ISR lessons.  After the first few days of Vincent's' lessons, I thought the program was never going to work.  I remember thinking that if Vincent was able to sustain a float after just six weeks of lessons, then these people are on to something.  Sure enough, around the four week mark Vincent began to float on his back.  Each day his float got longer and stronger.  It was amazing!  Many people who would see Vincent float were amazed and always asked me, "How old is he?"  They could not believe that a one year old was able to sustain a life saving back float.

I am very passionate about ISR.  I speak of it often with friends, family, and strangers.  I have immensely enjoyed my training and the students I have worked with to date.  I look forward to continuing to teach ISR lessons, and helping to improve my community.
